Kylian Mbappe failed to lead France to the top of the 2022 World Cup after his team was defeated by Argentina in the final, Sunday (18/12/2022), but the PSG winger was recorded as the top scorer at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Even though he failed to lead France to retain the World Cup title, he has the right to bring home the golden boot trophy from Qatar’s 2022 World Cup.

As is known, the golden boot or golden boot is given to the top scorer in a World Cup title.

Previously, Mbappe had successfully brought France to the title in the 2018 edition of Russia, but at that time his name lost in the hunt for the golden boot.

At the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Harry Kane managed to become the top scorer but failed to lead England to victory.

Harry Kane was only able to bring England to fourth place but managed to become the top scorer with 6 goals.

Making his name in Europe as a capable South American player, James Rodriguez was able to steal the show at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Rodriguez successfully scored 6 goals at the event which made his name hit the player transfer market and made Real Madrid spend big to recruit him.

The score of 5 goals during the 2010 World Cup brought Muller to win the golden boot, besides that Muller also won the best player award.
