City believe that Bellingham will prefer to join City because he wants to be coached by a manager of the caliber of Josep Guardiola.

“To be honest I didn’t think about that [transfer rumours]. You [the media] will be mad at me because you won’t get the headlines, but I’m just focused on the next game with Borussia Dortmund,” Bellingham said.
This 2022/2023 season, Bellingham has performed brilliantly with Dortmund by scoring nine goals and two assists in 18 matches in all competitions.
